Chito tweeted a snapshot of a crushed heart, saying,
"Akala ko walang magbabago at sobrang ok na ang lahat...pero bakit parang hindi na tulad ng dati?"
"Bakit may bahong patuloy na sumisira sa pagsasamang nakasanayan natin."
Concerned netizens gathered around the musician and his wife, Neri, with whom he raises a son.
They shared their hopes that the tweet was just "chismis" or lyrics to a new song using the hashtag #ChitoNeriForever.
On Twitter, the hashtag #ChitoNeriForever is now trending, with over a thousand tweets as of this writing.
Meanwhile, Neri posted a snapshot of a window that had been damaged by rain on her Instagram profile, along with a message about adequacy and lack.
"Tag ulan na talaga. Maraming pumapasok sa isipan mo kapag ganito ang panahon.
"Minsan napapaisip ka kahit ginagawa mo na ang lahat, parang hindi pa rin sapat. May kulang pa ba?" the caption placed by the actress and businessman in her post.
