Marjorie, according to Claudine, did not do a good job of raising Julia and other siblings.

 

Claudine Barretto was straightforward in her opinion of  Marjorie Barretto's parenting of Julia and the other Barretto children.

It's very clear, according to the actress, that Julia and her siblings were not raised well by their mother.

"Obviously, hindi maganda pagpapalaki. Biruin mo, pinalaki mo tapos babastusin..." Claudine said

Claudine made the statement during an ambush interview  in which she was asked about the time Marjorie posted a photo of herself and her children on Social media and said she couldn't believe she raised those children. Claudine Barretto made a cryptic statement about being a "lying hypocrite" a few months ago. Is Claudine Barretto pertaining to her niece, Julia Barretto ?

This was the common question from netizens commenting on Claudine’s Instagram post, that has a caption: “I would rather be known in life as an honest sinner, than a lying hypocrite.” Julia's confirmation of her relationship with actor Gerald Anderson just days before Claudine's tweet was not lost on her followers, who highlighted it in their comments.

Claudine didn't say to whom the quote was directed. During the July 2019 issue surrounding the three 

personalities, Claudine and her sister Gretchen appeared to support Anderson's past girlfriend prior to Julia, actress

 Bea Alonzo, where Julia was accused of causing the breakup. Bea's onscreen sisters Claudine and Gretchen, who appeared in separate productions (“Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin” in 2005 and “Magkaribal” in 2010), showed their  support for her by sending flowers at the moment, which Bea shared on social media.

Julia denied being engaged in Bea and Gerald's divorce in an Instagram post that made news not just for what it stated, but also because Gretchen claimed Julia used a "ghost writer" to compose it.

Claudine and Gretchen had long been estranged from their other sister, Julia's mother, Marjorie.
