If you ask your grandparents about Gloria Romero, they will almost certainly tell you that she was a well-known and well-respected actress in her youth.

Gloria Romero is now known to young people as Lola Goreng on the GMA-7 sitcom 'Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko.'

Many people value a photograph, such as the one she displayed of herself as a child.

She initially appeared as an extra in the 1949 film "Ang Bahay sa Lumang Gulod" before being picked up and signing a contract with Sampaguita Pictures because she recognized the tremendous promise of becoming a successful actor.

Until he was given a succession of television and film assignments in the 1950s and early 1960s, he was known as the "Queen of Philippine Movies."

Gloria Galla was born in Denver, Colorado, to a Filipino father, Pedro Galla, and a Spanish-American mother, Mary Borrego Miller.

After meeting and getting along well in a movie, she married Juancho Gutierrez, who was also a matinee star at the time.

Maritess Gutierrez is their daughter, and Christopher Gutierrez is their son.

Her career in show business spanned six decades, with accolades including Best Actress in the 1954 Sampaguita Pictures picture "Dalagang Ilocana."

In 2018, she was also named Best Actress in the film 'Rainbow Sunset.'She was a family member for more than two decades before joining the kapuso network in 2011.
