Gerald Anderson and Puppy are both missed by Julia Barretto.

 

Months ago, Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson posted a selfie, which was made even sweeter by the unexpected presence of a furry companion, in their most recent public display of affection.

The selfie, which was uploaded on an Instagram account dedicated to St. Bernard, was captioned, "Typical Amari."

Barretto's puppy, Amari, first appeared in a photo on her Instagram page on January 3. 

The photo, which was taken inside a car, showed a sight of a man in the driver's seat, who many assumed was Anderson at the time.

At the time, she captioned the photo, referring to Amari as the "new baby."

Barretto quickly established Amari's own Instagram account, @amarithestbernard, which she has maintained for the past three months.

Fans of the actress immediately recognized Amari and Barretto with another dog, a white Maltese, in a photo from the page.

Julia captioned the shot with heart emojis, "Buddies."

Barretto and her ex-lover and co-star Joshua Garcia share a pet dog named Mason. 

In February 2018, they adopted him as a newborn.

The actress hasn't said whether she and Anderson have a pet in common.

Their photo with Amari occurred just a month after Anderson announced he was dating Barretto, putting an end to more than a year of speculation.

Since then, the two have become more open about their relationship, it gives Gerald "peace of mind."

Julia recently shared a photo of Gerald with a puppy, with the comment expressing how much she misses the two of them.

It was recently reported that Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson paid a surprise visit to Julia Barretto during the lock-in taping.

Gerald Anderson documented his "first long motorbike trip" in the vlog. 

When he chose to pay a visit to Julia Barretto, his supporters were taken aback.

Even though his girlfriend is in her lock-in taping, the 32-year-old actor made sure to see her. 

Due to the COVID-19 policy, he was unable to be close to her.
