DJ Nicole Hyala's daughter was in a coma.
Nicole Hyala, a radio personality, went to social media to explain her absence.
She confessed that she remained out of the public eye for a while to care for her daughter, Princess, who was in a coma in April after contracting a potentially fatal condition.
Nicole posted, “HE LORD HAS SHOWN HIS GLORY AND MIGHT. HE HAS GIVEN US A MIRACLE.
“You may have noticed that I was inactive in social media for more than a month.
“I took a break from social media because I needed to take care of my Princess, who unexpectedly got sick with meningoencephalitis, a rare disease that causes inflammation of the brain.”
Nicole also shared a photo of Princess before and after the disease, revealing how her daughter miraculously survived the illness and is now in a better.
Nicole and her husband Renly tearfully recounted the experience in their vlog.
Nicole Hyala, a popular Love Radio disc jockey, made a tragic revelation on her new YouTube vlog, which aired on June 6, 2021.
She was joined by her spouse in her vlog, where they shared a traumatic situation they had to go through.
The couple's emotions were obvious as they reminisced about what had happened.
The pair sobbed as they explained how their daughter had fallen into a coma and needed to be fed through a nasogastric tube.
Fortunately for their family, everything came together for Princess's treatment.
The couple was overjoyed to announce that their daughter had unexpectedly awoken from her coma.
Princess was originally diagnosed with a fever on April 16 and was admitted to the Bian Doctors' Hospital the following day.
Their daughter was later transferred to St. Luke's Quezon City's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for three weeks.
The couple was only allowed to view and communicate with their daughter via video call.
According to the parents, their faith was strengthened as a result of their experience.
Princess is now doing well and is undergoing various types of therapy to continue her recovery.
She, like her parents, is extremely appreciative of people who assisted them.
