Miss Myanmar, ran away to their country to participate in Miss Universe 2020

Miss Myanmar Thuzar Wint Lwin won the  69th Miss Universe National Costume Competition.

Even if the other candidates' national costumes were more attractive, no one objected to the decision of the judges.

Many people sympathize with Thuzar because of her call to  pray for her country, which has been under military rule  since February 2021, has been heard around the world.

Many demonstrations are taking place, with people risking  their lives to reclaim the freedom that has been seized.

Thuzar's flight to Florida, USA, to compete in the 69th Miss Universe pageant, can be compared to a suspense-thriller film, given the current situation in Myanmar.

Thuzar's departure went unnoticed by the Myanmar border  security because she was dressed in a hoodie and dark  sunglasses.

Thuzar sent the national costume she would wear to Miss Universe to Florida through a foreign courier company to  avoid customs officials seeing her escape.

Thuzar's national costume, unfortunately, did not make it to America.

However, members of the Chin Community in Florida were kind enough to make her an outfit, which was the  winning national costume known as "Fearless Empress."

The Chin Community supported Thuzar because they also strongly condemned the violence taking place in Myanmar.

The possibility of Thuzar returning to Myanmar is very slim because an arrest warrant was issued against him when the military junta learned of his escape.

Before leaving Myanmar for Miss Universe 2020, Thuzar  was involved in protests in her home country and used  social media to condemn the February 2021 coup d'etat.

Thuzar was well aware that returning to Myanmar would be dangerous, but she had no idea where to go now that  the 69th Miss Universe pageant had ended.

Despite his country's uncertain future, Thuzar remains  optimistic because of the message it sends to  her Myanmar compatriots.

Thuzar also made the Top 21 of Miss Universe 2020, in addition to earning Best in National Costume.
