Jennica Garcia confirms that she and Alwyn Uytingco are no longer together!
"From a family of four, we are now a family of three," Jennica Garcia says.
Jennica Garcia has revealed that she and her husband Alwyn Uytingco is no longer together.
Jennica revealed in an exclusive virtual interview that financial difficulties prompted her to return to show business after an eight-year absence.
"We used to be a family of four, but now we're just a family of three, so compromises must be made,"
Jennica added.
Jennica politely refused to discuss the details of their breakup when questioned.
"That's the most that I could say right now. That's the most that I can say now. It's the reason din kasi talaga kung bakit kinailangan \[ko\] bumalik sa pag-a-artista," she said.
Jennica portrays Brenda, the antagonist of Yasmien Kurdi's character Dorothy, in GMA's afternoon drama Las Hermanas.
"What I did for the past seven to eight years was decide to really concentrate on my kids, and to do that,
hindi talaga ako puwede gumawa ng teleserye," she explained.
"Kasi ang taping noon three times a week, so ang ginagawa ko lang ay guestings kung saan two to three days total 'yung trabaho," Jennica added.
"For months and years, wala kang dedication to that show. And it used to work well with our setup."
"I owe GMA-7 a debt of gratitude.
I thank God for blessing me with GMA-7 because their arms are always open to welcome me."

Jennica has vowed that she will remain in show business for a long time now that she is a single mother.
"Without a doubt, indeed.
My heart would be so happy if GMA is open and really welcomes me as an artist." says Jennica
It can be recalled that the cryptic posts of Jennica and Alwyn have led to speculations that they have separated, although, there was really no confirmation from either of them.
Jennica Garcia is a Filipina actress and the daughter of Jean Garcia, a veteran actress.
She is married to Alwyn Uytingco, a co-actor with whom she has two children.
