Derek Ramsay admitted that he initiates break up with then-Girlfriend, Andrea Torres

 

Derek Ramsay clarified that he and ex-girlfriend Andrea Torres have no hard feelings after confirming his relationship with Ellen Adarna.

Last November, Ramsay and Torres announced their separation. They had been dating for over a year after Ramsay revealed in September 2019 that they had "feelings for each other."

Until now, there has been no other statement coming from Andrea's side aside from the statement that she released last November 2020.

In regards to other internet rumors about their divorce, Ramsay feels it's best to leave the specifics between him and Torres.

“We had been together for over a year and it came as a shock. The split seemed to come out of nowhere. “It sort of caught me off guard,” Ramsay said in an interview last year. 

Just very recently, on an interview with Cristy Fermin in the radio program, Cristy Per Minute on April 20, Derek confessed that he initiated the break up. 

He admittingly said, “Yung sa amin ni Andrea, it was actually may problema na nangyari na, I guess, nagbigay sa akin ng sign na, I think, this relationship we have, our views on this... yung problemang ‘yon, yung values namin, ng isa’t isa, is not the same.

"Hindi mali yung values niya, hindi mali yung values ko. Pero ganito ako pinalaki, ganoon siya pinalaki.

"Hindi ko na aatakihin ‘yon, hindi ko siya babaguhin. Hindi niya ako babaguhin.

"So I told her, 'I think that this is the end of this relationship because we cannot see eye to eye on this matter.

"'So I think it’s just best na kumalas na tayo ngayon rather than lalaki pa, and then two, three years down the road, maghihiwalay tayo.

"'Babalikan natin ito kasi nga iba ang views natin sa problemang ‘yan, and it’s a waste of time and it’s a waste of effort… masakit, di ba?'"

Dire-diretso ang kuwento ni Derek tungkol sa dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila ni Andrea, pero hindi niya sinabi ang problema na kanyang tinutukoy.

Patuloy ng Kapuso actor, "So, ako yung nakipagkalas.

"Sa phone po namin… 'yon lang yung siguro kung may regret ako is that it came up over the phone.

"Actually, dapat magkikita kami noon, ang nangyari, it came up over the phone, pero with no disrespect.

"Hindi namin dinisrespect ang isa’t isa. She agreed also,"Derek added.

Because of Derek's blatant response to the questions admitting that he was the one who initiated the break up through phone, Andrea's sympathizers went amass.
