Former Popular Celebrity Is Now Living in the Boondocks!
David Semerad and his wife Gwen Zamora are enjoying their married life in the province of Batangas.
They decided to build a modern bahay kubo in their farm. According to them, they chose to live peacefully there for it is less crowded instead of living in their condo unit in Manila especially now amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple is also ensuring the safety of their only child.
“The first thing that came to our mind was we needed to kind of escape of a safe haven especially because back in Manila, we were staying in a condo unit which was more risky especially with the virus. That was the main reason why we choose to go to the farm,” said Gwen on her vlog.
It was a mutual decision to live in the province, and they haven’t had any hard time with the adjustment.
“It was super easy to adjust because we would always go there every weekend so we always kind of miss it, and always wanted to go back kase when we live in a city, and we would go back every weekend, parang bitin palagi. But once we got to fully immersed ourselves for five months over there, super sarap talaga ng feeling,” shared Gwen.
She also confessed that she was a city girl since young, but she has been visiting her relatives in the province every summer.
“Both being half Filipinos, we wanted something different from what we’ve grown-up with. A true taste of the Philippines at kubo was a deal for giving us caven feel and a true blend with a nature of our surroundings.”
