Derek Ramsay Will Take Legal Action Against the Fake News Spreaded by Bulgar

 

Because of the leaked photo of the wedding invitation in which Elias’s surname became an issue,  Derek Ramsay reacted on IG  yesterday morning,  October 30, 2021, Saturday.

“The ultimate bearer of fake news. We will definitely take legal action on this! Don’t ever attack my family,” said Derek. 

The cropped wedding invitation in Bulgar’s recently published article showed Ellen Adarna’s son as “Elias Modesto Adarna” as a ring bearer. With this, there has been an allegation that Ellen Adarna does not allow John Lloyd’s surname to be carried by their son.

"Buking sa wedding invitation… ELLEN, 'DI IPINAGAMIT SA ANAK ANG APELYIDO NI JOHN LLOYD," Bulgar reported.

Meanwhile, Atty. Joji Alonzo clarified in an uncropped wedding invitation that there is really “Cruz” in Elias’s full name.

There were many cases of writers who were uninformed with the headline and title that their editors were putting. And because of these sensational leads, these brought unnerving situations to those people who were in the content.

This is why netizens must fact-check the information they have been getting from the Internet. Sometimes, what appears to be realistic is actually a fake.

Meanwhile, Elias who just turned three last July is a family to Derek, hence, inevitably took action.

In Derek Ramsay’s IG post, an IGer commented saying he shouldn’t blurt back since it was an IG 

waste space for purposeless people.

“no need to post it nlng don’t make atoll better.. sayang yung ig accnt mo make space for useless people sir. Godbless your family more”

 Derek, on the other, thanked the IGer, but still stood his principle.

“I think it’s time though for people to speak up about fake news.”

“There are still professional journalists out there and it’s unfair for their profession to be tarnished by cheap and unprofessional and heartless reporting.”
