According to Lola Tess who was interviewed by the Pilipino Star Ngayon, Charice’s possessions are slipping from her hand inch by inch. Charice’s mansion, condominium unit in Laguna, apartment in Cabuyao, two apartments in America, and Charice’s business in America are now sold.
Lola Tess is worried for her grandchild, thinking Charice might go back to square one. She also shared her dissatisfaction when Charice changed her name to Jake Cyrus after her gender transition.
"Hindi ko apo si Jake Zyrus."
"Sino ba si Charice Pempengco? Apo ko. 'Yong Jake Zyrus, hindi ko apo iyan. Hindi ko kilala yan!"

Grandma also shared that she didn’t give any statement regarding her revelation as a lesbian, but changing her name is a different issue.
