AJ has been single for four months. They separated from her ex -boyfriend Axel Torres around June 2021 after a nearly two -year relationship. Aljur has been separated from his wife Kylie Padilla for five months.
On October 1, it seems that rumors reached Kylie that Aljur was related to AJ. But based on her tweet that day it was clearly not an issue for the actress if Aljur had someone else. Kylie said that when she and Aljur split up in April they agreed they could date someone else.

Donnalyn asks if AJ has any hope of answering her secret suitor. AJ replied, "Not yet, but I appreciate him. But I'm not ready to enter the relationship yet because I'm just good at the relationship.
" Clearly there is hope for lover AJ, whom he now names none other than Aljur. AJ and Aljur worked on Nerisa, the Vivamax film starring Aljur and Cindy Miranda. AJ acts as the narrator who witnesses the romance between the characters of Aljur and Cindy, as well as the atrocities that Cindy suffered at the hands of those who abused her in the story.
AJ's relationship with Aljur surfaced when netizens noticed the photo posted by Aljur on Facebook on September 27.
Aljur was topless while having coffee on the veranda, and the camera shot was taken from a window inside the house. Netizens speculated that the window in Aljur's photo is the same as the window in AJ's house in Pampanga.
