OFW’s Son Showed the Money He Saved from His Mother’s Monthly Remittance
“Kung may isinuksok, may madudukot.” Easy to say, hard to do especially we are living in a world full of temptations. Parent taught their children to be thrifty at an early stage and must themselves as examples. For OFWs, it’s warming to see if your children spending the money you earn providently.
A netizen shared a story of a young boy who thriftily saved money from the allowance he is getting from his mother who is working abroad. The posted story went viral and accumulated good comments.
Here is the message from Jane F’mous in her FB post.
This is an eye-opener to the youth to give importance to the money, big or small, that their parents are giving to them. Every cent is from every ounce of their blood and sweat. These days, it’s rare to see this kind of trait in the youngsters. The story, hopefully, can teach the youth who are blinded by materialistic views to spend the money they have wisely.
