MONEY INVOLVE! LJ Reyes and Paulo Contis heartbreaking Split-up.

 

Full of grief, LJ Reyes confessed that she and Paolo Contis broke up only this August. The reason for their break-up is complex, but it clearly cannot be called a "mutual decision."

Actress LJ Reyes finally breaks her silence and reveals her breakup with Paolo Contis, her long-time companion and the father of her daughter Summer, after a period of lingering online. 

Paolo was also the one who acted as a father figure to Aki, the actress's kid with actor Paulo Avelino, for a period.

She meticulously clarified the split as she confirmed it in a virtual interview with Boy Abunda, one of the people she trusts. 

She expressed her distress, but it was also clear that she made every effort not to say anything that might harm the actor's reputation. 

In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of King of Talk Boy Abunda,

She admitted, emotional and in tears, that the last few months had been the times she tried to save their relationship. 

She put her pride aside for him and their family until she realized it was no longer working.

Was treating them differently, but she tried to make things work despite his not putting out the same effort to make their relationship work. However, whenever she confronts him about it, he simply dismisses it and refuses to discuss it.

“No, hindi siya mutual. Naniniwala ako kapag mutual isang decision, pareho kayong sumasang-ayon na hindi na nagwo-work yung relationship. Hindi po, e. Ramdam na ramdam ko naman po na ibang-iba na. Matagal ko na nararamdaman na nakahiwalay na siya sa amin. Ramdam na ramdam ko po yun,” the actress said.

As a mother, prompted her to speak up and put an end to the rumors. She doesn't want her kids to hear rumors about them from others. She didn't want them to get involved, and she saw speaking up as one way to protect them. She is a very private person, but when it comes to her children, she will go to great lengths to protect them.

“Sa totoo lang, kung anuman yung third party na sinasabi nila, it’s actually the least of my concerns. Kaya nga po ako nag-decide to speak up is because pag anak niyo na po yung nagagawan ng mali, I think kailangan mo sabihin na hanggang dito lang. Somehow, kailangan ko ilayo yung mga bata kasi kailangan maprotekahan sila.” Actress statement

The actress understood that the breakup should not have happened because she was thinking about her children.

She wanted her children to have a full family, so she put her pride aside and asked Paolo if he would accept them back.

“Tinanong ko siya, if he wants to take us back. Pero hindi na daw,” the mother of two said.

She also dodged the question of whether money was a factor, and this is her response:“Basta ang priority ko po ay mga welfare ng mga bata.”
