Lyca Gairanod Loftily Tours the Netizens to Her Childhood Home in Tanza, Cavite
The 16-year-old Kapamilya singer, Lyca Gairanod, is the first grand winner of “The Voice Kid Philippines Season 1” in the year 2014. She was just a cute little 9-year-old pumpkin at that time, but it was never a hindrance for her to show her talent nationwide. One of her prizes is a house and lot in Tanza, Cavite.
“I’m proud to say this is my house,” Lyka shared as she delightfully welcomed Karen Davila, a professional journalist of ABS-CBN to her humble abode in Tanza, Cavite.
In Karen’s latest YouTube vlog, she visited Lyca’s turf, the one she used to live before she won in “The Voice Kids Philippines” which is elevated and located on the beach.
This home witnessed her growing years, hence, valued by her family. It is now inhabited by her grandma, Ledesma Epe, who is still light-footed in stepping the two-step stairs towards the threshold. It is actually is a studio-type room constructed with plywood and asymmetrical bamboo flooring with no comfort room.
According to Lyca, as she reminisced, every time nature calls, they had to go to the sea during nighttime.
“Sa dagat po, kasi wala kaming CR dati.”
“Talagang gabi kami magpu-poop para wala pong tao. Nakakahiya din po kasi. Minsa arinola para ihian naming”, Lyca genuinely confessed.
The young Kapamilya celebrity singer told in the vlog that it was her grandmother’s choice to stay in the house although she had bought a new solid concrete house in the same locality.
“Aalis lang ako ditto kung wala na ako,” Lola Ledesma said.
Inside the house, Lola Ledesma displayed an aged and fragmented plastic cabinet. She treated it with nostalgic value since it was from Lyca, her granddaughter when she was just five.
“Iniingatan ko lahat ng mga bigay niya sa akin,” Lola Ledesma added.
Lola Ledesma is indeed quaint and values not only the important persons in her life but also the little things she received from them.
