Something fishy going on! Hazel Edep refused to allow the voice recording to be broadcast on RTIA.

 

Little is known about Hazel Edep, the social media star who is currently embroiled in a scandal over her smartphone and an alleged extortion attempt. 

There is no information about her age or other personal details available on the internet.

Hazel Edep, a social media influencer, finally presented her side of the story about how tricycle driver Angelito Martin was arrested for allegedly attempting to extort money from her.  

Someone from Angelito's group suggested to Hazel that she should present a reward to the person who found her phone, according to Hazel. 

While she was talking to the person who found her phone, Hazel stated she couldn't identify the person who continued giving her instructions through a text message sent to her boyfriend's phone.

Following the text message's instructions, she offered a cash reward of 7K, but the person she was speaking with allegedly told her that it was too low, claiming that her iPhone 12 Pro Max is worth around 100,000 pesos and that her cash reward offer should be at least 50,000. 

After negotiating with the person on the other end of the call, the social media influencer agreed to deliver the money to a location they specified.

However, she decided that reporting the event to the PNP's CIDG, who then prepared an entrapment operation, was the best option at that point.

Angelito Martin, however, recorded the chat they had with Hazel Edep.

They sent a copy to the RTIA, and before airing, Raffy Tulfo sought Hazel's permission.  

However, Tiktoker would not allow such to be shown online.  

She questioned the recording's duration and implied that it had been manipulated, which the other side disputed.

Hazel intends to pursue a lawsuit against Angelito's team after consulting with a lawyer.

According to the lawyer, recording a conversation without the approval of all parties is illegal. Dissemination of such recordings is also forbidden.

Earlier, the family and friends of tricycle driver Angelito Martin sought Mr. Raffy Tulfo's assistance in fighting Hazel's accusations. Angelito is currently incarcerated after being apprehended by CIDG personnel on suspicion of extortion.

The two sides are now awaiting the day of their lie detector test, the findings of which Raffy will use to decide who to assist.
