Pregnant with her third child, Nadine Samonte: "Every day is a struggle"
Nadine Samonte excitedly announced to her fans that she and her husband Richard Chua are expecting their third child.
Last June 9, Samonte announced the good news on Instagram, adding that she is now in the second trimester of her pregnancy.
"Happy to announce that now we are a family of 5.\[Heart eyes emoji\] Hello second trimester," merely stated the actress.
In the caption of her Instagram photo from today, July 5, 2021, Nadine Samonte begins with, "Every day is a struggle but it's more of a blessing."
Despite the fact that she is in the midst of her third pregnancy, the actress is pleased with the baby's progress.
She has Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APAS) once again.
Pregnant women with PCOS, a "hormonal disorder," are "three times more likely to experience a miscarriage," according to sources.
Preeclampsia, thrombosis, autoimmune thrombocytopenia, fetal growth restriction, and fetal death, according to reports, are all possible pregnancy issues caused by APAS, an "autoimmune disorder."
It wasn't easy for the StarStruck alumna, who was almost shot during her first trimester, she said, "ang dami kong iniyak sa journey."
In the caption of the post, she even said "I won't give up ever!!! I'll fight and stay strong for them!!!
"Go APAS and PCOS mommas out there. Kaya natin to. Hello to our rainbow baby soon. Our last..."
Nadine's Instagram post includes a shot of her bruised abdomen, as well as a syringe and a vial of Tinzaparin sodium, a blood thinner.
It wasn't something new to her.
"30 tablets a day, once a day (Innohep) injection, and every three days Proluton injection," her doctor prescribed when she became pregnant with her second kid, Austin Titus, now two years old.
On a brighter note, Nadine thanks GMA-7 for rerunning the 2010 series Endless Love, the Philippine translation of the popular Koreanovela.
Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera play the leads in the Philippine adaption. Shirley was played by Nadine in the teleserye.
Super Ma'am, which also starred Marian, was Nadine's most recent regular TV project. It first aired on GMA-7 in 2017.
