Mica Javier's kissing scene with a hot actor provokes a reaction from Jay R: "I hope you brush your teeth after that"
On the ABS-CBN program 'Init sa Magdamag,' singer Jay R aired his genuine feelings and thoughts in response to his wife, actress Mica Javier, kissing actor Gerald Anderson.
People wondered how Mica Javier's then-fiancé Jay R took her hot scenes when she played the fierce Lupita in the lunchtime Kapamilya series Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos. Mica plays Paulina in Init Sa Magdamag, another interesting character who is a bit more feminine but just as daring.
And we finally get to hear Jay R's reaction to her portrayal as her husband.
Jay R was urged to watch and react to his wife Mica's scenes on the show in a virtual interview for 'Kapamilya Chat.' Their kissing moment was one of the scenes that were shown.
While watching the scene, Jay R cracked a funny statement, "What? What is happening? What is going on? I hope you brush your teeth after that. I hope you ate a mint..."
Jay R was later questioned about his reaction after seeing the said scene.
"Well, I don't know... It was cool. Okay lang naman. Reaction? I think, it looked, parang hindi nagtagpo eh, oh di ba? Parang, so okay lang sa akin. Chill lang," Jay R said.
Mica asserted, "Uy pandemic itong, itong time na shino-shoot namin ito, nuong taping namin. So bawal yun di ba sa protocols."
"Ah, buti nalang." Jay R replied.
Mica also stated that she always informs Jay R anytime she has a risky or kissing scene because she wants to be transparent.
"Yes, of course sinasabi ko kay Jay R. Lagi kong kinukuwento. 'I have a love scene na naman or dinagdagan nila yung eksena kinailangan kong gawin ito.' Kinukuwento ko lahat para transparent, para alam niya kung ano ang nangyayari. Kasi lalabas rin ito sa YouTube or kung saan siya ie-ere. So makikita rin niya or makikita rin sa social media," Mica explained.
Currently, the couple resides in Los Angeles.
