BIG HEART INDEED; Melai Cantiveros pays Francine Diaz's bills

 

In a recent episode of ABS-CBN's morning talk show 'Magandang Buhay,' Melai Cantiveros proved how big her heart is.  

Robi Domingo, the show's guest host, asked the celebrity mom about her relation with teen star Francine Diaz.  

Robi asked, "Paano ba kayo nagkakilala ni Francine at paano mo siya natulungan?"

Melai claims to have previously worked with the young actress. She also expressed her admiration for Francine and her family.  

Robi then went on to ask if she truly did pay the young actress's electricity bill when she first started in show business.

Melai responded by downplaying her generous gesture.  

"Hindi naman yun ganoong ka-big deal. Nakiusap lang si mama niya," Melai said.

Melai's co-host Karla Estrada, on the other hand, stated,   

"Kahit ano man yan, ang importante marunong kang tumulong. Bakit pinagpapatuloy mo ang pagtulong at pipasa mo yan sa iba. Why is it very important to you?"

The kind actress expressed her belief that blessings come from God and should be shared with those in need. 

Melai stated, "Very important yan sa akin para pamarisan tayo ng iba. Binigyan tayo ng blessing para ibigay din yong blessing sa iba."

On the other hand, Francine Diaz stated that TV star Melai Cantiveros assisted her family in paying their rent during a difficult time.  

In an episode of the talk show "Magandang Buhay", Diaz revealed Melai's financial help to her family. Melai went on to say that she knew Diaz from their time together on the TV show "We Will Survive."  

"We almost got kicked out at that time. We also did not have electricity, and our things were already packed. We did not know where we would transfer," Francine narrated.

The starlet added, "Then we asked help from Ate Melai if we can borrow this, that. She answered, and that's it, we were able to pay our rent and electricity. We were not kicked out because of Ate Melai."

Melai claimed that she was able to help Diaz due to their good working relationship.
