Krista Elyse Hidalgo Sullivan, best known by her stage name Bela Padilla (born 3 May 1991), is a Filipina actress, producer, director, screenwriter, television host, and brand ambassador.

Padilla (born Krista Elyse Hidalgo Sullivan) is the daughter of Cornelius Gary Sullivan and Margarette Cario Hidalgo of the United Kingdom ("Meg"). Robin Padilla's mother, Meg, is a maternal first-degree cousin. Her father's first marriage ended in divorce. In England, she has three older half-siblings from her father's first family, as well as an older brother from both parents.

She originally attended a Montessori-style international school at Forbes Park, Makati, before enrolling in Colegio San Agustin – Makati's foreigners class. Padilla chose journalism as a senior high school option.

Padilla was found by ABS-CBN talent scout Jet Valle, who introduced her to ABS-CBN via Star Magic Batch 15 and gave her the stage name Krista Valle. She made her television debut in the adolescent drama Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv Ur Lyf 2 the same year.

When she began working as a freelance actor, she changed her stage name to Krista Sullivan, her real name. She had a brief role in the Totoy Bato TV series in 2009. She subsequently went on to star in the third season of TV5's Lokomoko High.

In 2010, she left Star Magic and went to GMA-7, where she was replaced by Claire dela Fuente as her manager. She also changed her stage name to Bela Padilla as a result of the relocation.

Padilla returned to ABS-CBN in 2015 after signing an exclusive contract with Dreamscape Entertainment Television, one of ABS-well-known CBN's TV assets, to play Carmen in the hit teleserye FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, which co-starred Coco Martin, Maja Salvador, and Susan Roces and was based on the Fernando Poe Jr. film of the same name.

Bela Padilla played Juris in Sino ang Maysala? : Mea Culpa in 2019.
