Bea Alonzo's unfinished ABS-CBN project? Frasco Mortiz responds to the issue.

Frasco Mortiz can't stay away from the spotlight.

He grew up with a father who directed for television and film, and as a result of his habit of accompanying him on set mostly to observe, it wasn't long before he found himself behind the TV and film cameras as well.

Frasco is one of four children of actor-director and song composer Edgar 'Bobot' Mortiz. He is bespectacled, articulate, and straight to the point.

Frasco took over Goin Bulilit from his father with little pressure, and after a few years, he was behind a number of TV productions, including the 50-episode teleserye Eva Fonda. His first film, The Reunion, was a strong reflection of his generation's way of life.

Frasco inherited his father's musical talent and eventually co-wrote several of the station's song IDs (Sukob Na) for TV promos that were quickly replicated by other networks.

"I'm aware of my father's musical and television preferences," he acknowledges. "In that regard, I'd like to believe we're rather similar."

Meanwhile, Frasco can't stop himself from sharing his thoughts on the hottest and most recent showbiz news about Bea Alonzo's unfinished ABS-CBN project.

The filmmaker wrote in the comments section;

"I was one of the directors attached to that project. Ginusto ko na magtweet, peru nagpipigil na lang ako, sayang ang energy. It's unfair to say na may project naman siya tapos siya yung umayaw kasi marami ang nangyari and ang daming factors na nagresult to her decision to leave the project."

On the other hand, while Bea is enjoying her new home, several posts from ABS-CBN director Erick Salud have gotten a lot of attention on social media since they appear to be referring to an actress who recently switched networks.

The posts discussed a particular actress who had left an unfinished production. As a result, the project has already been pushed, and filming has already begun prior to the outbreak. Accordingly, this actress stated that she does not want to shoot under the new normal of production shooting only to learn months later that she has plans to switch networks.

Netizens are also puzzled as to why Bea Alonzo made this decision.
