At PNoy's burial, James Yap kept a low profile.

James Yap expressed his sympathies with Noynoy Aquino's death.

"Rest in peace President Noynoy Aquino. Thank you for being nice to me," the 2-time PBA MVP who plays for Rain Or Shine said in a short Instagram post. "You will be missed."

Many people praised James Yap, including reporters who covered former President Noynoy Aquino's funeral at Manila Memorial Park on Saturday, June 26.

He came to the Church of the Gesù of the Ateneo de Manila to attend mass and after that, he attended the funeral at Manila Memorial Park. He just kept quiet in the back and refused reporters who wanted to interview him.

According to witnesses at the Manila Memorial, James was just behind them but did not approach Kris and Bimby Aquino.

The only person James spoke to there, according to sources, was Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste.

The husband of Noynoy's sister Pinky, Manuel Abellada, and his son Miguel greeted him. James was even told that he should approach Kris, but he refused.

According to sources, Kris and Bimby may or may not have been informed that James would be attending the funeral.

The people were aware that James had opted not to approach Kris and Bimby, fearing that they might be the center of attention of the media.

The basketball player decided to be behind in honor of the late President of the country's funeral.

The important thing is that he sympathizes because he used to say that PNoy was really kind to him.

Vice Governor Leviste allegedly did not leave James, and they left the cemetery almost at the same time.

PNoy's memorial and burial were both simple and solemn.

Netizens salute James Yap who did not film or dramatize but quietly took part in delivering PNoy to the final scene.

Until today, the wonderful tribute to the death of our former President PNoy has been the talk of the town.
