Julia Barretto is characterized by Gerald Anderson as his "fuel."

Actor Gerald Anderson, 32, is clearly head over heels in love with his 24-year-old girlfriend Julia Barretto.

Gerald said Julia gives him the strength to face  life's challenges in an interview with Toni Gonzaga on   her online talk show I Feel U on May 5.

Julia's love for Gerald is undeniable.

Gerald said, “Unconditional. You know, I seem to know … I guess, in my troop in the army, I know she's always there by my side."

"And it appears that if I'm a ship, she's the one who supplies me with power or fuel so that the fight for life can continue."

"There are many waves coming," he insisted, "but they must be continuous, there are many storms."

What kind of happiness did Julia bring to Gerald's life?

“Another pleasure, another inspiration,” Gerald responded.

I'm at a loss for words, eh, because  she seems to be different…  I'm getting a new sense of inspiration."

"I still don't know if it's because of my age, which is 32."

Gerald finally revealed Julia was his girlfriend on March 5  after several years of speculation.

"WHAT FRUSTRATES YOU ?"

Toni also wonders what it is about celebrity life that  irritates Gerald.

The Kapamilya actor said, “Maybe, all of us in this industry,  it seems like there is always something wrong."

It seems that people are only interested in seeing what their perspective is, what they think of us.

"Let's call them our supporters; they look at us as if  we're perfect."

Gerald added that bashers or trolls do not think that celebrities are not products.

“They seem to forget, we seem to be treated as a product,” he said, “that we are not human, that we have no feelings,  that we are not going through anything.”

“It's also difficult to convey it to others" Gerald added.

The actor went on to say that he is aware of his mistakes  and that he has nothing to say to the public.

Gerald said,

"I've learned that failures and errors, as well as my flaws,

have provided me with more growth than the successes I've had in my life."
