Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo's identity was a hot topic among beauty pageant fans across the country.

However, aside from her tale, her childhood, and her past, some people are also curious about her love life.

While Rabiya Mateo doesn't expose much about her personal life (at least on social media), however, netizens did discover a few details about her love life,

 including her boyfriend's identity.

The beauty queen confessed that she is currently in a relationship in an interview with reporter Dyan Castillejo.

Her boyfriend's name is Neil Johnfel Salvacion, and they've been together for six years. He is Rabiya's first boyfriend, to be exact.

"I can make a man stay." Rabiya told Castillejo.

Her boyfriend is a frontliner.

Mateo and Salvacion met at the Doctor's College in Iloilo for the first time. 

Mateo pursued a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, while Salvacion pursued a nursing degree. 

Her boyfriend now works as a nurse in a Quezon City hospital.

Rabiya vowed she would never leave him.

"Always look back to where you came from and never forget the people who were with you when you were still a nobody '-these are the words that were given to Rabiya by her mentor when she was starting out in the pageant industry.

Rabiya said to Ricky Lo, "My boyfriend and I made a promise that whatever happens, we should stick together." 

However, their fans have found recently that Rabiya Mateo's pictures are no longer on her boyfriend Neil Salvacion's Instagram account, leading to rumors that the couple had broken up.
