Andre Brouillette has finally spoken out about his rumored relationship with Rabiya Mateo.
Andre Brouillette was a showbiz newbie and the fourth big placer in Pinoy Big Brother Season 8.
Rabiya and Andre are now staying together in the United States.
Andre Bruouillette finally spoke up and addressed the issue that was allegedly mediated between them by Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo.
Andre, a Filipino-American, recently posted a post of himself and Rabiya eating out with a buddy.
Rabiya also shared a video with Andre and one of their lunch out friends on Instagram Story.
Rabiya and Andre's post was misunderstood by the netizens.
Recently, Rabiya's boyfriend, Neil Salvacion, removed images of the two of them together on his Instagram account.
Andre was part of the Team Philippines, which was led by Rabiya Mateo, during the Miss Universe
2020 pageant in Miami, Florida.
Andre covered Rabiya's Miss Universe journey as a correspondent.
Andre said, “The way that I and Rabiya met, I’m actually here, or at a time in Miami recently, as a fly-in host and a correspondent in this pageant industry, coming up in this Miss Universe, right?”
On Friday, May 28th, Andre spoke with Star Magic's Inside News, which was posted on YouTube.
“Si Rabiya is Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and we have the same agency. The same team that’s managing her,”Andre explained
Andre's agency is Mercator Artist and Model Management held by Jonas Gaffud, who is also the creative director of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization.
Andre added, “So, I was able to meet her as I came to Miami to do hosting for Miss Universe updates, which is about, I would say three weeks ago.”
Andre stated that he can no longer control what others think.
Andre described how Rabiya and him were filmed together.
Rabiya followed her other colleagues, including Andre, to Beverly Hills after the Miss Universe contest.
Andre said, “What happened was I, we picked her up from the airport and we had time. “We were all hungry. We went out and had a great lunch in Beverly Hills.”
When Andre shared the photo with Rabiya, he apparently had no malicious intentions.
“We're good friends, and I have the utmost respect for her,” he explained his relationship with Rabiya.
Andre's final thoughts were, "Always focus on the truth."
