For her segment in 24 Oras, Drew Arellano reveals wife Iya Villania's true appearance

On social networking sites, amusing behind-the-scenes posts about reporters and celebrities' shoot-from-home encounters begin to emerge.

Drew Arellano, a TV host, has shared a snapshot of his wife Iya Villania's work-from-home setup.

The most recent story concerns Iya Villania, the host of 24 Oras' "Chika Minute," whose behind-the-scenes look was unveiled by her husband Drew Arellano in his Instagram stories on April 22.He first shared a picture of Iya giving her spiels live on 24 Oras, which he took with her cell phone.

For public viewing, Iya was seen in a half-body view, well-made-up.

In yesterday's show, she looks like this on television:

Drew followed up with a picture of Iya in full view, off camera, in his next story.

Iya was dressed in her pambahay floral trousers, with a slipper on her left foot and none on her right.

“My wife is always ahead of the fashion curve!”Drew said about his wife.

Her ring light and cellphone tripod, which was mounted on a higher shelf, were also seen as part of her live show set-up.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak was deemed a pandemic in March 2020, Iya has been working from home for her "Chika Minute" duties.

We fully understand Iya's situation. We've all done it: worn pambahay shorts to Zoom meetings in the hopes that no one will notice (oops, secret's out!). Plus, we're pretty sure everyone else is wearing some kind of comfy bottoms. That is one of the many advantages of working from home. Let's not say that Iya is both a working mother and homemaker.

Iya was pregnant with their third child at the time. On July 18, 2020, she gave birth to her daughter Alana Lauren.

Iya also shoots for her other television program, Mars Pa More, which she co-hosts with Camille Prats, at home.
