Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna's relation lasted for a month-long, hence the reason one cannot say yet how long will they be together nor if their relationship will last long.
But for Derek, he is ready to level from being a bachelor to a groom.
As he seriously admitted, " Yeah, I mean, lahat naman ng tao or marami ang nagsasabi na hindi ko gusto magpakasal. Opinyon nila yun.
"Pero ako, gusto ko. Kaya ilang beses ko na sinasabi na gusto ko, ganun pa rin ang iniisip ng tao.
He also added, "Kaya nga sinabi ko, I'll have the last laugh because I know one day I’ll get married. For sure.
"Ayoko lang magpakasal sa tao na hindi pala yun ang tama para sa akin."
A lot of people thought that Derek would marry any of his ex-girlfriends Joanne Villablanca and Andrea Torres.
However, the relationships failed.
According to the actor, he continuously searched for the right woman for him.
He said, " "Di ba, ang dami na mga marriages na nangyayari, 'tapos they realized na they are not supposed to be married then separated.
"Ang marriage, di ba, supposed to be, this same infinite thing that walang hiwalayan.
"So, it’s no joke. That’s why I’m taking my time to make sure that I find the right one."
And when asked if Ellen Adarna is the right woman for her, he jokingly answered, "Next question. please."
Endearment
Derek and Ellen confirmed in an interview last February 26 and were asked what is their term of endearment and if they would reveal it.
As recalled, Derek, 44, laughingly said, "‘Day, 'Day, 'Dong."
Ellen,32, said, "Anything." Which was confirmed by Derek saying, " Anything, yeah."
They also both introduced each other as a couple to each of their own child; Austin, Derek's son to his ex-wife Mary Christine Jolly and Elias, Ellen's son with his ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
Derek praised how Ellen takes care of Elias saying, "Super ano siya, super mom. Sobra. Super, totoo. And super bait niya kay Austin."
"So, Good Job," he said as a direct praised to Ellen.
