'I'm submissive, not stupid': the beguiling posts of Kylie Padilla constant conflict about breakup from Aljur Abrenica
Were they through?
This was the concern among the couple's fans on Tuesday on social media, as the actress posted relationship-related mysterious articles on Instagram.
Padilla said, "I'm submissive, not dumb," in since-deleted posts to Instagram Articles, and shared the quotation, "More self-love, baby girl."
Since then, Padilla has also deleted a February 21 post with the caption, "Free," where she is seen smiling as if overjoyed; and a February 23 picture of a ring-less left hand.
A story change that remains noticeable is a quote about "being single," attributed to India's Osho.
As the quote goes,“It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person, without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without being addicted to the other."
No clear note of Abrenica, 30, was made by Padilla, 28, in either of those articles.
Subsequent updates by Padilla spurred rumors that her marriage to Abrenica was going through a tough patch. In December 2018, the two got married and have two sons, Axl Romeo and Alas Joaquin, together.
The posts by Padilla brought attention to Abrenica's own Instagram habits, with fans noting that the actor posted a snapshot of a rosary on February 18.
His caption: “Prayed the rosary on the road. Been praying for a while. The power of prayer is real. Brought peace and clarity.”
He then thanked Vin Abrenica, his brother and fellow performer, for lending the Rosary and "guiding me."
